CYS supports your continued development as a soccer coach and will reimburse you for the cost of successfully completing all basic and intermediate courses. Advanced courses are usually reimbursable but need the pre-approval of the President / Executive Director.

The following two organizations offer coaching courses in the Boston area:

Mass Youth Soccer (affiliated with US Soccer Federation)

  • Basic Courses (NO TESTING): G License (U6-U8), F License (U10-U12)
  • Intermediate Course (NO TESTING): E License: (U10-U14)
  • Advanced Courses: D, C, B and A Licenses

National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)

  • Basic Courses (NO TESTING): Parent Coach Diploma, State Diploma
  • Intermediate Courses (NO TESTING): Regional Diploma, Advanced Regional Diploma
  • Advanced Courses: National Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, Premier Diploma
